Real Honeymoon: Bali and Thailand

By Annie Chambers

Categories: Asia, Honeymoon|

This sweet couple came to us from Connecticut with no idea where they wanted to go. We talked about Asia, Africa, and Europe. After an initial call, we narrowed it down to Asia, which was a new continent for the couple to tackle! They even accepted that it would take nearly 30 hours to reach their first destination, Bali. They wanted a mix of culture, beach time, and wildlife viewing.

Thailand & Bali Honeymoon Itinerary:

Ubud, Bali → Chiang Rai, Thailand → Koh Samui, Thailand → Bangkok, Thailand
Duration: 15 days
Month: July
Hotels:  Royal Pitha Maha (Ubud) → Anantara Golden Triangle & Elephant Camp (Chiang Rai) → Belmond Napasai (Koh Samui) → The Peninsula (Bangkok)

-Tour of Green School and Village, an environmentally sustainable school and village made of bamboo – perfect for architect, Paul!

-Eastern Bali Tour: Sibetan Village, Tirta Gangga Water Palace, Karangasem Palace, and other stops

quotation-marksAnnie put together a honeymoon itinerary that exceeded any expectation or fantasy that my (now) wife and I could have dreamed up. Our two weeks spent in southeast Asia could not have been more seamless; we had itineraries in paper and digital form and people on the other side ready to welcome and chauffeur us wherever we went. Annie took the guess work out of the entire vacation and I am truly so appreciative for her help and support along the way.
