Real Honeymoon: Ritz Dorado Beach
By Annie Chambers
“Due to updated coronavirus protocols, my husband and I had to cancel our honeymoon two weeks before our wedding. I emailed Annie in a panic and asked her for advice or if she had any suggestions for us. She was extremely helpful and responsive and within one day we had an amazing trip to Puerto Rico booked! Annie asked us a few questions about our priorities, budget and what type of experience we were hoping for. She suggested Dorado Beach and once we were on board, she took care of all of the booking for us.
Despite the short notice, she made sure the trip was perfect including dinner reservations for every night, a great kayaking excursion, and first class transportation to and from the airport. We also enjoyed amazing perks courtesy of Annie including macarons, chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of rose upon arrival as well as resort credit and complimentary breakfast. I highly recommend Crafted Escapes and plan to work with Annie for all of our future trips!”
Dining Options
COA– For Puerto Rico’s indigenous Taino people, the coa was the tool that allowed them to harvest the land. In reverence to this history, ingredients at COA are sourced seasonally and from local farms and purveyors, and signature dishes carry the flavor of Mi Brasa, a traditional, Spanish wood-burning oven. COA’s wine cellar features 690 labels and 3,200 bottles, creating one of the largest wine lists in the Caribbean. The space can also host private tastings and wine dinners.
Posi & Ivo Sand Bar– Open to the elements yet shaded by a beautifully carved ceiling, Posi+Ivo Sand Bar features Asian-inspired and Latin fusion dishes that invite diners to experience different culinary traditions in one sitting.
Encanto Beach Club- The poolside, beachfront restaurant features Mediterranean coastal cuisine, island-inspired cocktails and grilled meats and seafood.
