About Jordan

Jordan, originally from the East Coast, now resides in San Francisco with her dog Mozzie and cat Tuna. Her passion for travel and exploration began early, leading her to study abroad in Africa during college. There, she lived with the Maasai for three months, studying archaeology, camping in the bush, and learning from the warriors.

Jordan also spent a year in Australia, where she worked and traveled extensively. She became dive certified in Cairns, drove the Great Ocean Road, learned to surf, and embarked on a road trip along the entire coast, visiting small towns. As a professional ice hockey player for Brisbane, she had the opportunity to explore cities across the country along the way.

With over nine years of diverse operational expertise, Jordan has played a crucial role in building multiple companies from the ground up. Her professional journey is characterized by a relentless pursuit of innovation, efficiency, and growth. Now working in the travel industry, Jordan is thrilled to share her rich life experiences and support Travel Advisors in creating unforgettable journeys.”

What is your most memorable travel experience?

As a passionate animal lover, I’ve been following a dog and cat rescue in Phuket, Thailand, for many years. They do incredible work with the local communities through, care and rescue, animal humane education, and free spay and neuter clinics.

Last year, I traveled to Thailand and volunteered for a week, caring for and walking dogs at their shelter. It was one of my most memorable travel experiences, meeting like-minded travelers and dedicating my time to a fantastic cause. I plan to return at the end of this year!

Where do you dream of traveling next?

Iceland! As an avid biker, I’m slowly getting into bikepacking. My plan is to traverse the country by bike. It looks absolutely stunning and promises to be a challenging and rewarding adventure!

What is your favorite hotel?

I would say La Loma Jungle Lodge & Chocolate Farm in Panama is definitely a top choice. It’s a quaint retreat with just a few rooms nestled right in the jungle canopy. The owners are incredibly personable, the food is spectacular, and you wake up to the sight of monkeys swinging from tree to tree. If you’re lucky, you might even spot the resident sloth!

Give best tips for travelers?

Take a chance and travel in the off-season! You’ll encounter fewer tourists and have more opportunities to connect with the locals. I always book my travels in the off-season; my last trip was to Thailand. There were some rainy days, but they only added to the adventure 🙂
