Celebrating 10 years of Crafted Escapes

I am celebrating 10 years in the travel industry.
People say if you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work. Hi, I’m one of those people.
Ten years in, and most weeks I genuinely feel lucky to do this, even with the late nights, the panicked emails, and the years I spent rebuilding after a global pandemic shut everything down.
My boys have watched me take calls at school pickups, and know that my suitcase is out and packed at least twice a month. That balance isn’t always graceful, but I’m trying my best.
To my husband, who has been steady through every wave of this wild career — and to the grandparents and au pairs who loved on my boys while I was away on work trips. None of this happens without you.
To my clients: thank you for trusting me with your anniversaries, babymoons, family vacations, milestone birthdays, etc. Hearing your stories and seeing the photos when you return is the part of this job I’ll never take for granted. That kind of trust for this big moments in your life means everything.
To my team: ten advisors and our incredible operations team who took a chance on something that started with just me, no roadmap, but some ambition to bring others into an industry that I love. From our daily chats that flow with questions, support, and getting to know each other’s kids and pets. Grateful for every single one of you.

I write every caption, answer every DM, and put genuine thought into every blog post and newsletter because this community is another favorite part of the work.
Here’s to ten more years of trips worth taking.
