Some fun facts about me

I wanted to take a moment to re-introduce myself to my loyal clients and new virtual friends.
I am a mama to a 5-year old Labradoodle named Porter. He’s a 60-pound love bug. I have an almost 2-year-old named Coleman. He keeps me on my toes and makes me laugh daily when he belts out random songs. I was married in Coronado Island, CA almost five years ago to my very patient & kind husband, Nick.
Growing up my mom was a travel agent, and I lived abroad for a few years, so my wanderlust runs deep, and it was a natural progression from planning my own trips to creating customized itineraries for others. This year marks 5 years in travel industry!
My favorite drink is a margarita with fresh squeezed limes + silver tequila + a splash of triple sec (salted rim, please!). I love Pinot Noirs from Russian River Valley + crisp Brut Rosé.
I’m a huge book nerd. I recently finished ‘The Vanishing Half’ and loved it and am currently reading ‘The Tatooist of Auschwitz’. My favorite books of the past few years were @GlennonDoyle ‘Untamed’ and @TrevorNoah ‘Born a Crime’.
I’m an adrenaline junkie. I’ve gone skydiving, ice cave hiking and cliff jumping. I dig riding around in helicopters. l like driving fast cars.
I love food and have been testing lots of new recipes during quarantine. I’m known to plan an entire trip around visiting a special restaurant. My sister @Carochambers is a chef. Follow her for recipe ideas & virtual cooking classes.
If I’m moving, it’s either outside on a hike or taking a bike ride. Inside, you’ll find me on a Pilates reformer or yoga mat at a flow or restorative class. ♀️
I worked for the U.S. Army for 7 years as a public affairs specialist telling the stories of Active-Duty Soldiers and Veterans. This job took me on whirlwind tour to Europe (Germany & Belgium) and the USA (Chicago, D.C., Florida, Maryland, and California).
Charleston is my retirement dream spot. I went to College of Charleston and fell in love with the low country cuisine, marshlands, and historic homes.
