We’ve previously mentioned our obsession with Liz Biden’s design genius at all the Royal Portfolio properties in South Africa. The stunning La Residence is in Franschoek, the heart of the South African winelands, on a 30-acre estate. Surrounded by vineyards and orchards, La Residence is the ideal haven for relaxation.
Every one of La Residence’s suites offer different stylish and bright decor and have gorgeous views. Peak season is November to April, but the property is open year round.

“La Residence is so beautiful. Our room is Asian inspired, which is so different from our previous hotel. The view from our room is amazing and the whole property is relaxing and homey but luxurious! We sat by the fire both nights and drank wine in the open.”
