Most people think of going to Florida for the beaches, which Palm Beach also does really well, but there is so much to do on this little island and surrounding towns! With direct flights from many major cities into West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale airport it makes for the perfect option to escape the winter blues for some fun in the sun.
Hannah, from our Crafted Escapes team spent a long weekend in the Palm Beach area and put together the perfect guide for where to stay, where to eat, where to shop and what to do.
Reach out if you’re interested in planning your next warm weather escape, whether it’s for a girls weekend, romantic getaway or family friendly vacation, Palm Beach has something for everyone.
Where to Stay
Eau Palm Beach
An ocean retreat where relaxed elegance is understood and intuitive service is never forgotten, this resort sits on its own stretch of private beach featuring water sports and acres of sandy beach to lounge and enjoy. All guest rooms and suites are designed by Jonathan Adler and feature private balconies with hanging chairs with pops of yellow for the sunshine, crisp clean white accents and bright oceanic blues – reminiscent of Santorini meets Capri, meets Palm Beach.
CE Do Not Miss – The pièce de résistance at Eau is their 42,000 square foot Eau Spa, with luxurious spa cabanas, bathing rituals and exotic pampering treatments.
Brazilian Court
Elegant Spanish Colonial architecture, lush tropical courtyards and fountains and warm ocean breezes frame the exclusive Brazilian Court Hotel. A historic landmark infused throughout with Roaring 1920s glamor and boutique intimacy, the private, 80-room property is the classic Palm Beach luxury getaway — bringing together stunning, high-style accommodations and impeccable service for an unforgettable experience.
The Breakers
Escape to unapologetic luxury, seaside glamor and genuine service at this iconic Palm Beach paradise. Henry M. Flager was the visionary behind the resort when it first opened in the 1890s and they have continued to preserve this landmark property. With amenities such as four pools, 10 restaurants, an indoor-outdoor fitness facility, stunning spa and two golf courses, The Breakers is the ultimate leisure destination.
CE Do Not Miss – The Seafood Bar, the bar is a live aquarium!
The Ben
The Ben is a newcomer to the Palm Beach hotel scene. Opened in 2020, the 208-room boutique hotel is located just across the intracoastal from the Island of Palm Beach on the West Palm Beach waterfront. Offering prime views of the Palm Harbor Marina and scenic Intracoastal Waterway, the hotel’s amenities include a stunning rooftop lounge with an expansive heated saltwater pool and adjacent bar.
CE Do Not Miss – Spruzz, West Palm Beach’s only rooftop waterfront dining experience, this local hot-spot brings together Mediterranean cuisine and raw bar, craft cocktails, a design-forward decor, a breezy, carefree ambiance, and expansive Intracoastal views.
Four Seasons
We love the Four Seasons for clients who don’t want an artsy/ over-the-top decorated property. It’s very chic and right on the beach with a great beach club. If you want to be right in town at Worth Avenue, this isn’t your spot though. Perfect if craving a beach resort getaway.
CE Do Not Miss – They have great concierge packages like include a picnic and polo match. Check out their weekly activities that include water and beach sports, bicycles, culinary and mixology tastings, picnics, pop-ups and more. Their beachfront outdoor gym will make anyone want to work out!
